The pandemic games

Previous exhibition

18 March 2022–29 January 2023

The Olympics and Paralympics Games in Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022 were different from other championships, both for the spectators and athletes.

The corona pandemic created a different framework for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The competitions in Tokyo took place in front of empty stands, and in Beijing, restrictions and strict infection control measures affected the games.

In addition to performance pressure, the athletes had to deal with the challenges posed by infection and infection control.

The exhibition shows authentic objects related to the athletic achievements and memories from the Games in Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022.
